Welcome to Tiny Talk! I’m Gabriela and I teach TinyTalk Newborn Communication Workshops (0-3 months), Baby Signing (0-18 months) and Toddler Talking (16/18 months - Pre-school) classes on the Gold Coast and Zurich City. I teach in Stadelhofen, Seefeld, Wipkingen, Enge, Uster and in Stäfa and I offer Saturday classes too. Scroll down for timetable of classes.
I discovered the fun and excitement of signing when I started taking my son Julian to a class when he was 8 months old.

I was keen to do something different with him, and I loved the thought of getting my baby brain back into shape by learning a new skill! His first signs included milk, more and cow.
I remember my husband and I feeling so thrilled that he was able to communicate to us, providing an insight to what was in his mind and seeing his joy in our understanding him too. Especially as we are a multilingual household (Spanish and English) so the signing allows him to express himself to us both whether he’s saying Mummy’s ‚'music’ or Daddy’s 'música’. I really believe it eased the frustrations of being a small toddler; we were able to communicate long before he could talk.
When my daughter was born I naturally signed with her right from the start - it's completely amazing when your tiny child tells you they've heard a noise, or seen an aeroplane or need a drink!

Meet Gabriela...
Children:Julian, he is almost 9 years old now! Arabella is 6 years old.

Pet Hate:Sleep deprivation...Urgh...!
Secret Passion: Fish and chips (yum!)
I most admire:Parents- because it's soooo hard and we have to keep going no matter what!
I love baby signing because:It's AMAZING and it WORKS! Teaching your baby to sign gives you a wonderful window into their mind from a young age. It's so important to give your baby a voice when they have so much to tell you!

By public transport:
By tram/bus - Take tram No. 3,5,8,9 or bus No. 31 to Kunsthaus, then walk up the hill along Rämistrasse (in the direction of the lake and Bellevue). Promenadengasse is the first road on the left and St Andrew’s is on the right about half way along.
By rail/S-Bahn:
Zurich Stadelhofen railway station is a 5 minute walk from the church. From platform 1 cross the pedestrian bridge over the rail line and then take the steps in front of you. Once on the road (Schanzengasse) follow it to the right, uphill to Villa Falkenstein, and then descend to take the first road on the left (Promenadengasse). From there the church is directly in front of you on the left side.
By car:
Please note that parking is very limited, both at the church and on the surrounding streets. The closest public car park is Parkhaus Hohe Promenade, an underground car park on the right as you go up Rämistrasse towards the Kunsthaus.

I teach Newborn Workshop - a gentle introduction to Baby Signing, our regular Baby Signing groups and Toddler Talking fun classes too.
